Nancy and Real Estate

After finishing her University degree, Nancy began working for the Federal Government, designing Exhibits and Trade Fairs.  At this point, Nancy never imagined that she would use this experience and knowledge in her future career in Real Estate. With her background in Urban Planning, Nancy’s experience in construction allows her to assist her numerous clients in envisioning potential renovation projects and her clients’ lifestyle in their future home. When it comes to renovations, Nancy has always had a knack of helping clients visualize the potential use of space.  Nancy concentrates on the older, established neighbourhoods in the inner core of the city and has a specialty in infill construction.

Nancy is an established, independent Realtor with 22 years of experience operating a full service office located in the heart of Ottawa, Ontario at 610 Bronson Avenue (at the Queensway), under the umbrella of Keller Williams Ottawa Realty, Brokerage – the largest single office in Ottawa. 

A key factor in Nancy’s success is her dedication to providing consistent, outstanding service to each client.  Nancy deals with a wide range of properties, and attributes her success to her knack for matching just the right property with Buyers.  Another characteristic that sets Nancy apart from other Realtors, is the classy and professional way she presents the houses she’s marketing – a wide variety of photos are taken of each property in order to develop full colour brochures and specialty flyers for distribution in her target market areas.  Nancy and her associates pride themselves on their web marketing as well, utilizing digital images for extensive web advertising.

From her experience with working for Foreign Service Officers and clients who are planning their retirement, Nancy provides access to properties throughout the World.  Whether clients are looking for vacation properties in the Caribbean or Florida, or a cottage closer to home, Nancy is able to provide contacts in these areas. Nancy’s Second Passion: Competitive Equestrian Show Jumping

Nancy aspired to become an Equestrian Hunter and Jumper rider throughout her teenage years, and after completing high school, she moved to Toronto to work with a coach.  Then came Nancy’s working career, where she put aside the horses in order to develop her Real Estate business.

In 2000, Nancy returned to her love of the sport and the horses.  Despite her busy schedule as a successful Real Estate agent at Keller Williams Ottawa Realty, Brokerage, she rides twice a week and trains with Torrey Pines Stables in Toronto, Ontario with coaches Courtney Vince and Eric Lamaze.  Her two horses Joli Coeur (Cracker) and Quannan de Bray (Britain) were imported from Europe and Nancy personally shows the two horses on the “A” circuit.  She is a member of the Canadian Equestrian Federation (CEF), the Ontario Hunter and Jumper Association (OHJA), the Canadian Horse Shows Association and is a sponsor of Ottawa’s International Capital Classic Horse Show.  Nancy rides in numerous horse shows throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Prestigious W.E.F. in Wellington, Florida each year.  In 2008, Nancy acquired numerous Championships throughout the season and was awarded Circuit Champion in the Low Adult Jumper division at the W.E.F. - Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida after accumulating 6 championships on the 2008 circuit
